Mark your calendar and plan to come and join us for this year’s 37th Annual Sentimental Journey to Cub Haven Fly-In from Tuesday, June 20th through Saturday, June 24th. It’s a great opportunity to meet other like-minded airplane folks, enjoy a lot of fun activities and kiss the ground the Piper J-3 was built on. This year the airplanes being honored will be the PA-20 Piper Pacer, PA-22 Piper Tri-Pacer and the PA-22-108 Piper Colt. Food vendors will be on-site and nightly entertainment will take place in the pavilion. We will again have Greg Koontz and the Alabama Boys Thrilling Airshow and the C-54 Berlin Airlift Flying Museum. This year, the banquet will be moved from Saturday night to Friday night in the third floor Aztec Room of the Piper Museum. And while you’re here, be sure to stop by the museum which will be open Monday through Friday, during the hours of 9 am to 6pm, and on Saturday, 9 am - 4pm, so plan on stopping by to see all our airplanes and our new displays. Saturday June 24th is Young Eagles day, and youth age 8 through 17 can go for a free airplane ride courtesy of EAA Chapter 1327 between 10am and 2pm.
